Well so far I have written some articles and put them up on my site, http://findingoldfriendsforfree.net , and submitted them all to EzineArticles.
I have posted to a few sites and have about 10 backlinks coming in at the moment. Yesterday I started some serious article submitting and for that I use Unique Article Wizard and I will continue this untill I am on page 1 of Google for my ‘broad match’ phrase, I am not there yet but I will get there. I already dominate page 1 for ‘exact match’ search, so I know the site has been noticed.
It really is funny how some sites get onto page one quickly and for some others you really have to battle it out. My site is not quite there at the moment, I’m not worried because I know it will, but some get themselves on Google’s page 1 effortlessly. Now this is a site I set up for Jane to promote her new book, Tears From The Sun.
That is it is a brand new domain and is searched for over 1,000 time a month for the url keyword, nearly 2,000 actually. So you can imagine my surprise when I saw it on page 1, and we havent even finished building it yet.
What did we do? Well it has got three posts and two pages plus one of our videos from YouTube and it has got some links from some of our many blogger blogs and other websites, plus Jane has promoted it fairly heavily on Facebook. We havent even got around to article submissions and press releases yet, but we will, just got to complete this challenge with my search site first.
